Rose Hydrosol 500ml

Hydrosols are a byproduct of the essential oil manufacturing process and share many of the same properties as essential oils, however are much less concentrated. Rose Hydrosol has been used for thousands of years, including in the Middle Ages and is thought to have originated in what is now Iran. The exquisite Rose Otto Damascena Hydrosol is well-known for its skin care benefits as well as for helping to balance the endocrine system. It is also adored for supporting emotional well-being. This is organic-certified, 100% pure Rose Hydrosol extracted from the damask rose (Rosa Damascena).

Cosmetic Benefits

Rose Hydrosol is mildly astringent and acts as a humectant (attracts moisture) thus being helpful for many skin types including dry, fragile, sensitive and ageing skin.

Rose has been known to be a fantastic toner for all skin types for many generations. Along with having antimicrobial and astringent properties, Rose Hydrosol adds and retains moisture, making it perfect for healing dry, mature and ageing skin. It is a good choice for anti-aging and anti-wrinkle formulations and is also known for its ability to help cool sunburn.

Cosmetic and Miscellaneous Uses

As an ingredient in lotions, creams and other skin care products, Rose Hydrosol adds a soft, floral aroma as well as many skin healing properties.

You can use undiluted Rose Hydrosol for a light perfume. Its toxin-free aroma is beautiful and you'll smell faintly of rose. Rose Hydrosol as a spray is also refreshing and uplifting.

It can be added to your body lotion for added moisturisation, or it can be added to your bath for relaxation.

When making a cosmetic recipe, you can use it as a replacement for the water you would have used.

Face Cream:

• 1 cup jojoba oil
• 30 grams green tea leaves
• 10 grams dried rose petals
• 20 grams beeswax
• 25 grams coconut oil
• 20 grams shea butter

• ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚àÇ‚Äö√†√∂‚àö¬±‚Äö√†√∂¬¨¬Æ cup aloe vera gel
• 1 teaspoon rosemary antioxidant extract
• 15 drops rosemary essential oil (optional)
• 10 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
• Cosmetic Jar for Storage

Toner:

• 47 grams of rose hydrosol
• 2.5 grams glycerine
• 0.5 grams preservative
• Bottle and Spray top for Storage

Body Spritzer:

You can fill a bottle with some rose hydrosol, add a few drops of your favourite essential oils, add a spray top and you are good to go!
