SPRALL IBC / Flowbin Electric Mixer with Pneumatic Lift 1000L
Couldn't load pickup availability
The IBC / Flowbin Electric Mixer with Pneumatic Lift is a heavy-duty industrial mixing solution designed for mixing and agitating products directly inside containers of up to approximately 1,000 L. Powered by a 2.2 kW geared motor, it combines high-torque mixing, variable speed control, pneumatic lifting and a triple-impeller system for effective circulation throughout the container.
Description
Built for demanding production environments, the IBC / Flowbin Electric Mixer with Pneumatic Lift (1000 L Max) provides a powerful and practical way to mix, blend and maintain agitation directly inside an IBC or Flowbin.
At the heart of the machine is a 2.2 kW electric motor with a geared reduction drive, providing the torque required for industrial mixing at speeds of up to approximately 300 RPM. An integrated Variable Speed Drive (VSD) allows the operator to adjust the mixing speed to suit different products and processing requirements.
Unlike mixers that rely on a single blade, this machine features a triple / 3-stage impeller system, with impellers positioned at different levels along the mixing shaft. This helps promote circulation throughout the container and improves mixing across different product depths.
The heavy-duty pneumatic lift raises and lowers the complete mixing assembly, making it easier to position an IBC or compatible container beneath the mixer before lowering the shaft into the product.
With extensive stainless steel construction, integrated safety controls and heavy-duty castors for mobility, this mixer is designed as a complete industrial mixing platform for regular production use.
Suitable for applications across cosmetic and personal care, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, detergent and general industrial manufacturing.

Cleaning + Repairs + Warranty
Cleaning & Maintenance
Keep the mixing shaft and all three impeller sets clean after each use. Product residue should not be allowed to dry or build up on the product-contact components.
The pneumatic lift cylinders, bearings and guide rods should be inspected regularly and lubricated where required to maintain smooth movement. Regularly check pneumatic hoses, fittings and connections for leaks, wear or damage.
The geared motor/gearbox should be maintained according to its lubrication requirements. Do not open the motor or gearbox or add grease unless this is specifically required by the manufacturer's maintenance instructions, as the lubrication requirements for a geared electric drive differ from those of a pneumatic motor.
Regularly inspect the mixing shaft, impellers, castors, electrical connections, VSD and emergency stop for signs of damage, looseness or excessive wear.
Always switch off and electrically isolate the machine before cleaning, inspection or maintenance. Do not spray water or cleaning liquids directly onto the motor, gearbox, VSD, electrical control panel or electrical connections.
Machine Warranty
We offer a 6-month warranty on the IBC / Flowbin Electric Mixer with Pneumatic Lift, effective from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers defects in materials (factory faults) or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. A service fee is payable when booking the machine for inspection; however, this fee will be refunded if the fault is confirmed to be a manufacturing or factory defect.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, improper operation or handling, inadequate maintenance, normal wear and tear, or unauthorised modifications or repairs.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Machine Refunds & Repairs
Once a machine has been used, it is not eligible for a refund or return. Machines that have been used, are no longer in their original packaging, are damaged, or have missing parts or accessories cannot be accepted for refund or return.
If you experience a fault or operational issue, the machine may be sent to us via delivery or courier for inspection.
A service fee of R450 excluding VAT must be paid before the machine is booked in for inspection or repairs. This covers the initial assessment and repair service.
The service fee is fully refundable if the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect. It is not refundable where the issue results from misuse, incorrect operation, inadequate maintenance, normal wear and tear, or other non-manufacturing causes.
The inspection and fault-analysis process may take approximately 3–5 working days. Any replacement or spare parts required are not included in the service fee and will be quoted separately before proceeding.
All machines must be clean before being sent or brought in for inspection or repair, particularly the mixing shaft and impellers.
All repair requests must be booked through our designated repair process, with the required machine and customer information supplied at the time of booking.

Precautions
This is industrial production equipment and should only be operated by trained personnel.
Ensure the machine is correctly connected to a suitable 380 V three-phase electrical supply and appropriate compressed-air supply for the pneumatic lift system. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified person.
Always secure and correctly position the machine and container before operation. Lock the castors before mixing and ensure the shaft and impellers are correctly positioned inside the container before starting the motor.
Never place hands, tools or other objects near the rotating shaft or impellers while the machine is operating.
Do not exceed the machine's intended operating capacity. Product viscosity, density and other formulation characteristics can significantly affect the load placed on the motor and mixing system.
Confirm the suitability of the machine and its materials of construction for the intended product and manufacturing environment before use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What size container can this mixer handle?
A: It is designed for IBCs / Flowbins of up to approximately 1,000 L and may also accommodate smaller compatible containers.
Q: Can the mixing speed be adjusted?
A: Yes. The integrated Variable Speed Drive (VSD) allows the mixing speed to be adjusted up to approximately 300 RPM.
Q: What is the benefit of the triple-impeller system?
A: The three impellers create agitation at different levels inside the container, helping improve product circulation and achieve more effective, consistent mixing.
Q: Does the pneumatic lift require a compressor?
A: Yes. The pneumatic lifting system requires a suitable compressed-air supply to raise and lower the mixing assembly.
Q: Is this mixer suitable for thick or viscous products?
A: The 2.2 kW high-torque geared drive is designed for demanding industrial mixing, but suitability will depend on the product’s viscosity, density, formulation and required mixing process.
