Melaleuca Alternifolia (Leaf Water)
Caution: Please do not confuse Tea Tree Hydrosol with Tea Tree Essential Oil.
Tea Tree Hydrosol (Melaleuca Alternifolia Hydrosol) is the water-soluble "essential oil" obtained from hydrodistillation of the leaves of the Tea Tree plant or also known as Melaleuca Alternifolia (Leaf Water). Tea tree hydrosol is the aromatic water produced during the steam distillation of tea tree leaves. Known for its potent antimicrobial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties, tea tree hydrosol is an excellent choice for skincare and personal care. Its gentle nature makes it suitable for a variety of uses, including toners, facial mists, and soothing sprays for skin irritations. Hydrosols are a byproduct of making essential oils and contains small traces of that particular oil, however it is a tonic water that contains the water-soluble therapeutic properties of the plant that are not present in the essential oil.
